Day 10 - Fire&Ice
I took this when I was at The Rose and Crown. It really caught my eye... I know I can hear Claudia saying in her professional voice "watch your horizons" but this one.. just went for my lens for some reason.

Day 9 - Claudia Kronenberg @ Petticoat Row
I had such a great time at the Petticoat Row event (www.petticoatrow.com) last night. I took 137 photos! Wishing I had a flash the whole time. I just could NOT put it into full auto. I would not let myself do it! So I suffered the consequences in the photos.. but I lighten many of them. I guess I am happy enough.. until the next time! At least I met a whole bunch of people in person, even if we all know each other through Facebook! My Day 9 photo is of Claudia Kronenberg, My Photo Mentor, she spoke about herself and her career as a Photographer. She rocked! Thank you to Jo and Martie for meeting me there!! That meant a lot!
Day 8 - Winter Beach Jasmine
No one said there were rules... so I kinda cheated on this one.. KIND OF ...Because we had a windy nasty day and night.... I posted one from the first day of the New Year in 2010! This was at Ladies Beach. 1/1/10 ... I guess it really does not matter WHEN I took the photo.. as long as I post one everyday :)

365
So I decided to improve my photography by taking the next step at (http://www.claudiak.com) Claudia Kronenberg's Digitial Photography Class during the months of January and February. This is the first class I have "ever' taken about photography! And do not ask me "why" it took so long. I guess it took that long because I was waiting for "her" class ;) And I have already learned some amazing things! I can now shoot in Manual Mode. This has opened up my outlook "on" photography tremendously for what it can be and what I can really capture. It also has opened a new side of me. So through the wonderful inspiration of good friends, I have finally decided to start my Project.. of 365 Photos .. One a day! Hope I can keep up with it, I think I am really going to... I need something to motivate me! So I missed the first 33 days of the year 2010. But I have the next 332 days to post :) And I need your feedback good and bad and your support throughout... Thanks for looking It means a lot to me....

~ Smells Like Rain ~
Ever since I was young, I remember falling in love with the sound of Rain. It is so calming and soothing, can make you relax in minutes of time. Something about the sound of where those drops are really hitting on, whether it be on the windows of the car your driving, the house you are in, building you are working in; or the leaves you are listening to them gently make music on... This is how I remember when I was younger... The first time I truly remember knowing I loved the smell, sound and feeling of rain was the first time I spent a night in my Grandma and Grandpa's trailer at the campsite! I remember waking up and listening. Getting out and smelling ..inhaling so deep..just like the first time I stepped off of the Steamship the first day I landed on Nantucket to smell the Freshest Ocean Air ever. (May I add that I have never smelled the ocean air before that day in my lifetime) I remember getting out of the trailer and just getting poured on! And I loved it..The smell, the taste, the sound, the calmness it gave me. This, I have to add, is one of the only things that calms me down and relaxes me. Rain...I have captured the Rain in this photo of sunflowers my Mother had planted over on Topaz, where we all used to live... It is one of my favorites... another obsessive to photograph.. Anything with water.....Rain. Have not mastered it yet though. Practice...
For now, I called it a day! Due to the Rain, I was able to explain how much admiration I have for it... which is something I can never do...express myself in writing..maybe now is the time when I can finally......
This could get very interesting.. my blog
:)
